Placenta Encapsulation & Keepsakes

Honoring the organ that sustained your pregnancy.

Your Incredible Placenta

Placenta encapsulation in Rhode Island & Massachusetts

The placenta is a remarkable organ. It nourishes, protects, and connects you and your baby throughout pregnancy — and many families choose to honor that role through encapsulation and keepsakes.

I process every placenta with care, intention, and strict adherence to OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards and Big Belly Services certification protocols. Your placenta is processed in a dedicated space to prevent any risk of cross-contamination, then delivered directly to you.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Placenta Preparation (capsules)

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, placenta is considered a powerful and sacred medicine. Many families report benefits including improved energy and mood support during postpartum recovery.

Your placenta is steamed with warming ingredients (lemon, ginger, jalapeño), dehydrated at 170+ degrees for microbial hygiene, finely ground, and placed in vegetarian capsules.

Recommended use: 2-3 capsules, 2-3 times per day or as needed. Begin no earlier than day three postpartum. Do not take if you have a fever or inflammation. Capsules can be frozen for later use.

Placenta Print & Umbilical Keepsake

The cord that connected you and your baby can be shaped and dried into a lasting memento. Names, zodiac signs, symbols, words — we'll do our best to create exactly what you have in mind. Your placenta print is made with food-grade inks on 11x14 acid-free watercolor paper. You choose the colors.

Katherine

I realized last-minute that I wanted to try placenta encapsulation. My doula reached out to Lorie and she drove an hour to the hospital, picked up my placenta, and had it ready for me when I got home two days later.  It was so easy, and the packaging and directions were beautiful.  Highly recommended!
