Birth professionals hold a lot.
We sit with intensity, uncertainty, trauma histories, complex systems, and deeply human moments — often all at once. Over time, that kind of work can live in the body in ways we don’t always notice until we’re exhausted, reactive, or disconnected from the parts of the work we love.
That’s why I teach Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) specifically for birth professionals.
EFT is a gentle, body-based tool that supports emotional regulation and stress reduction. In birth work, it can be used within scope to help clients navigate anxiety, fear, overwhelm, and emotional processing — and it can also be a powerful self-care and regulation tool for doulas themselves.
This upcoming in-person EFT for Birth Professionals training is designed to be practical, grounded, and immediately usable. We’ll focus on:
understanding when and how EFT fits into birth support
supporting nervous system regulation
maintaining ethical boundaries and scope
using EFT for your own resilience in this work
The training offers 5 CEUs and is appropriate for doulas and birth professionals at all stages of practice.
If you’re looking for tools that honor both evidence and lived experience — and that support you as much as the families you serve — I’d love to have you join us.
