Looking to Train as a Doula in Oklahoma?

We offer inclusive, full-spectrum doula training designed to prepare Oklahoma doulas to support families across pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. Our programs center community-based, trauma-aware, and culturally humble practice.

For this upcoming cohort, we are offering a limited number of training scholarships and discounted tuition options for Oklahoma-based doulas who plan to serve their communities. Scholarships are prioritized for doulas who are willing and able to accept SoonerCare (Oklahoma Medicaid) clients in their doula practice, in alignment with current state access pathways.

Availability is limited and based on program capacity, location, and alignment with current training pathways. We are committed to honoring your time, privacy, and professional goals throughout this process.

Scholarship & Training FAQs

Who are scholarships intended for?

Scholarships are intended to support Oklahoma-based doulas who are committed to serving families with limited access to care. For this cohort, priority is given to doulas who plan to accept SoonerCare (Oklahoma Medicaid) clients as part of their doula practice.

Why is accepting SoonerCare clients required for full scholarships?

This training cohort is designed to strengthen doula access for families who rely on SoonerCare for pregnancy and postpartum care. Requiring scholarship recipients to accept SoonerCare clients helps ensure that training support directly translates into increased access for families who need it most.

Do I need to be enrolled as a SoonerCare doula already?

No. You do not need to be enrolled at the time of application. Training, guidance, and mentorship around practice readiness and certification pathways are included as part of the program.

What if I’m interested in training but not able to accept SoonerCare clients?

You are still welcome to apply for training. While full scholarships require a commitment to accepting SoonerCare clients, partial scholarships or discounted tuition options may be available based on individual circumstances and program capacity.

Does submitting this form guarantee a scholarship or a spot in training?

No. Submission of this form helps us understand interest, location, and training goals. Scholarships and training spots are limited and reviewed on a rolling basis.

What if my county or region has limited availability right now?

Training and scholarship availability varies by region based on current placement opportunities and partnerships. Even if support is limited for this cohort, your application helps inform future training opportunities and advocacy efforts.

Who can I contact with questions?

If you have questions about training, scholarships, or readiness to serve SoonerCare clients, you’re welcome to reach out to us directly before applying.
