Sadiyah Cook

Philadelphia PA

Full-Spectrum Doula

Hi, I'm Sadiyah, and if you've ever wished you had that one person in your corner who just gets it, I'm her.

I'm naturally outgoing, deeply open-minded, and the kind of person who can strike up a real conversation with just about anyone. People tend to feel comfortable around me quickly, which matters a lot when you're inviting someone into something as intimate and life-changing as your pregnancy and birth journey.

While I don't have children of my own, I come with nine nieces and nephews and a lifetime of being the person my family and friends call first when a baby is on the way. I have always been fascinated by women's reproductive health, so much so that I filled my college schedule with women's studies and anatomy courses just to understand it better. Becoming a trained doula wasn't a career pivot, it was the natural destination of a passion I've carried for years.

My background is a little unique: I hold a degree in communications and have built a career in medical insurance, and I plan to put both to work for the families I serve. Navigating the healthcare system during pregnancy can feel overwhelming. I want to make it less so, helping you understand your options, advocate for your rights, and walk into every appointment and every contraction feeling informed and prepared.

I proudly serve families throughout Philadelphia and Delaware County, offering compassionate support through pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period. My goal is simple: every mama I work with should feel seen, empowered, and never alone, whether she's counting contractions or figuring out life at home with a new baby.

I can't wait to meet you.
