Mary Cadahia, CLC

MA & RI

Birth Doula

Mary Cadahia is a birth and postpartum doula serving families in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Becoming a parent to her two children was one of the most eye-opening and transformative experiences of her life, and it’s what led her to doula work. She understands how essential it is for families to feel informed, respected, and genuinely supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
Mary brings both heart and science to her work. She has a background in Biology and is a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). She currently works on a maternity unit, where she is completing the required clinical hours toward her IBCLC, gaining extensive hands-on experience supporting infant feeding, postpartum recovery, and early parenting.

Her approach as a doula is warm, grounded, and advocacy-centered. Mary is a fierce advocate for her clients, offering evidence-based education, calm reassurance, and support in navigating medical systems. She is deeply committed to empowering families to ask questions, speak up for themselves, and make informed decisions that align with their values and needs.

Mary believes no one should feel alone during this journey, and she is honored to provide steady, compassionate care during such a meaningful time.
